The Pennsylvania Department of State undertook a large initiative to modernize its information technology infrastructure to support professional licensing activities as well as related investigations, inspections, and disciplinary programs. The department decided to build a custom system. DynaVet was hired to establish best practices-based project management for this initiative and establish control over scope, schedule, and budget. DynaVet also provided coordination between the initiative and several other Pennsylvania government entities, such as the State Police, to enable automated background checks as part of the new system.
